Antje Munder joined the group in 2003. She gained her PhD thesis at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover and as a veterinarian by background she takes care of the mouse models used by the group and is responsible for the planning and execution of in vivo and in vitro infection experiments. Her special interest lies in host-pathogen interactions in cystic fibrosis lung disease, characterisation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa virulence determinants and fitness of bacterial mutants in in vivo and in vitro models.
